French Market Basket
Our Classic French Market Bags are hand woven by local artisans in Morocco. Made of ethical hand woven palm leaves, creating a rich herringbone texture of sturdy natural fibres. Given the handmade and natural material, no two market bags are alike or identical. Colour variations and natural imperfections will make up the beauty of your bag.
A reinforced top edge provides added durability for carrying groceries, laundry, beach essentials and other daily items. Anchored by soft leather tabs, the doubled straps allow the basket to transition from tote to shoulder bag. The flat bottom design also allows your bag to sit independently while loading and unloading your bag on any occasion.
Your bag will arrive slightly misshapen from shipment. Simply hang on a peg or hook for 24 hours and watch your bag come to life. You can also mist with a spray bottle to help loosen any kinks or dents and help it reshape.
Size will vary slightly. Approximate size is 22" W x 13" H.
