Our collection of fine art is both an ode to timeless 19th-century paintings and drawings as well as a unique showcasing of original artwork. The striking techniques and visuals from the turn of the 19th-century artists inspire both our portfolio of originals (paintings and prints) as well as our fine art reproductions.
We have taken all the necessary measures to ensure that our printing process uses only the best inks, and papers while adhering to strict printing standards. The results are beautiful fine art pieces which art and interior enthusiasts alike will take pride in owning.
We achieve an authentic Giclée (pronounced gee-clay) print quality with each of our fine art prints. Giclée (sometimes called archival prints) is a museum-grade printing technique that uses cutting-edge inkjet printers, with professional archival pigment inks and high-quality fine art paper to produce artwork for print or display.
Giclée prints are known for their lasting quality, due to the type of archival inks used which are designed to last for many years without fading from sunlight or other interior conditions. Our Giclee quality means that our prints both vintage reproductions and originals will meet the needs of discerning customers who want museum quality for their artwork.
Our vintage artwork is printed on either Matte Fine Art Paper or Premium Cotton Rag Paper.
Matte Fine Art Paper
100% acid-free gallery-quality matte paper is thick and non reflective allowing the natural textures and details of the painting to be accurately captured through our Giclee printing process. This paper is above the industry standard you would receive from a local big box store that provides printing services. The matte surface has a natural, non-reflective finish, making it ideal for displaying art both open-faced or behind glass in your space.
Premium Cotton Rag
The creme de la creme of paper, this is the finest quality 310 gsm museum archival acid free paper.
It is 100% cotton, calcium carbonate buffered, and does not use optical brightening agents.
This paper is unmatched in presentation and quality as the premium texture and composition of the cotton rag paper provides you with accurate colour reproduction - making it look and feel like the original painting. Best displayed in an open face frame so that you can admire and enjoy the texture of your print.
This option is best suited for customers looking for an authentic museum reproduction.
